I am pro-choice. I support a woman's right to choose, and to make medical decisions. I support Roe vs. Wade. I do not believe private and intensely personal decisions such as whether or not to seek an abortion belong to legislators.

If we really want to decrease the number of abortions that take place in the Commonwealth, we need to support pregnancy prevention programs and contraception education that will decrease the number of unwanted pregnancies. I support the Governor’s rejection of federal funds with abstinence education strings attached…because those programs simply don’t work.
