Dan Rizzo's Tele-Town Hall

June 18th, 2011

Dan Rizzo, Revere City Councilor and Candidate for Mayor, would like to thank the 2,500 Revere residents who reached out over the weekend to participate in his campaign’s Day of Town Halls.

On Saturday, June 18th, the citizens of Revere were offered an opportunity to connect with Dan to share their thoughts and ideas for the future of the city. Over 2,500 Revere residents called, tweeted, and visited Dan in person to speak frankly about the state of the city and his plan to move Revere forward.

As a business owner, Dan understands that innovative economic development hinges on a leader’s ability to cultivate a collaborative environment and foster an open exchange of ideas. Dan was impressed by the outpouring of creativity and enthusiasm and thankful for the overwhelming support the Town Halls received from the community.

“I believe in an open, responsive government that is accountable to the people it serves. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to see things from our residents’ perspective and share my vision of an efficient, accessible government that will work with the community to successfully navigate Revere through these tough economic times. As Mayor, I will make it a priority to surround myself with the best and the brightest, to seek out the advice of our city’s great minds, and to keep our residents informed, engaged, and empowered.”
